The free play area, Cubs & Cubbies, was a nice bonus, especially for younger children who still have plenty of energy after swimming. It gave Elise another space to explore, play, and make the most of our stay.

One thing that made this staycation even more convenient — the hotel’s location. Edsa Shangri-La is connected to and within easy walking distance of Shangri-La Plaza Mall, along with plenty of restaurants and shops in the immediate area. So on our second day, when we weren’t quite ready to leave but wanted a change of pace, we walk over to the mall to shop and have coffee. Having that flexibility, without needing to book a car or fight EDSA traffic, made the whole trip feel even more effortless. It’s a small thing, but it’s one of the most practical perks of staying here — especially for families who like having options without the hassle.
